One day, Brenda, one of our long time customers, contacted us indicating that she wanted to order Nasi Kuning (Indonesian Yellow rice) for her wedding.
She said she would have a simple wedding event, so there would be some refreshments and lunchboxes as the Guests' Wedding Favour.
She decided to have Nasi Kuning with "tumpeng" toppings. Nasi Kuning represents "gold" and "many blessings" for Indonesian cultures. And tumpeng is usually in cone-shaped to represent "mountain of blessings and prosperity".
The Nasi Kuning was delivered on-time at 9 am in the morning to the venue in Toronto. And we're glad that the guests loved it!
